About these terms
These terms cover eastweston.com, the booking page, the East Weston Collective application, the hub and the links we send you. By using them you agree to these terms. Collective membership has its own Collective terms, and projects have their own quote, brief and invoices; where those say something different, they apply.
Booking a visit
- When you pick a time we hold it for you for 10 minutes while you add your details. The visit is booked when you press Confirm visit and see the confirmation.
- You can change or cancel online up to one hour before your visit, from the link in your confirmation email. After that, call or email us.
- Please give the right contact details, so we can reach you if something changes. We may cancel bookings that look automated or made in someone else's name.
- Visits are free and do not commit you to anything.
Hub accounts
- We sign you in with a one-time link or a 6-digit code from our team, never a password. Keep your email account safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- Do not share your sign-in or let others use your session. Tell us at once if you think someone else has signed in as you.
- We can pause or close an account that is misused, for example to protect another client's information.
Links we send you
Your booking link, your brief link and change order links open without a password, so you can share them with a partner or your designer. Anyone with the link can see it, and on a brief or change order can approve or decline. Approvals made through your link count as yours, so share links only with people you trust, and tell us if a link went to the wrong person: we will replace it at once.
Your files and our content
You keep the rights to the files, photos and drawings you upload. You give us permission to use them to design, price, make and install your project and to run your account. Only show us work you have the right to share.
The website, our photographs, the materials library and the brand belong to East Weston or the people who licensed them to us. Please do not copy or reuse them without asking.
Prices and quotes
Prices and lead times shown in the hub or the library are for planning. They become an offer only in a written quote, change order or invoice from us. Mistakes in prices can be corrected before you accept.
Using the site fairly
Do not try to get into accounts or areas that are not yours, test or overload our systems, scrape the library, or send us harmful files. We may block access to protect the studio and our clients.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the website and the hub accurate and available, but they are provided as they are, and they may be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses from using them. Nothing here limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts in Toronto, unless the law gives you the right to another court.
